Take Our Kids to Work Day – Grade 9 2022/2023

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Grade 9 students may take part in ‘Take Our Kids to Work Day’ (TOKTW), which has a long history of being a successful opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in the workplace and connects parents/caregivers, and their grade 9 students, in a day full of fun and career exploration.
This year, the WRDSB is supporting TOKTW in partnership with a new sponsor, the Students Commission of Canada (SCC). For more information please visit https://www.thelearningpartnership.ca/take-our-kids-to-work

Please note that although the resources mention virtual events, at this time there are no virtual events planned for November 2, 2022.

Although TOKTW is designed for grade 9 students, students in older grades may choose to take advantage of this opportunity.

WE NEED YOUR CONSENT!

Parent’s / Guardian’s are asked to complete the ONLINE FORM with their child if they wish to participate in this opportunity by Monday, October 31st. By doing so you give your child permission to take part in Take Our Kids to Work Day and validate their absence for the day.
