It is with mixed feelings that I write this message.  In September 2017 I will be taking on a new role at the Education Centre as a System Administrator JK-12 in Learning Services.  Although I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to serving our students in a different role, I shall miss the caring and connecting community of students, parents and staff that make PHS great.  It has been a pleasure to serve as Principal of PHS for the last three years and I will take with me many fond memories of being a Panther.  I am pleased to announce that Ms. Kempel, who spent last year as the President of the Ontario Principals’ Council, will be your new Principal.  A number of years ago Ms. Kempel taught Science and coached Field Hockey at PHS, and since then,  has provided leadership in the role of Principal to a number of schools in the WRDSB.  Welcome Ms. Kempel.
