Dear Preston High School Community,
As we close out another successful school year, I want to take a moment to wish all our students and families a happy and restful summer holiday. This year has been filled with growth, achievement, and countless moments of Panther pride. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students.
To our graduates — congratulations! We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you and the impact you will make.
To those returning in the fall — we look forward to welcoming you back in September as we begin another year of learning, growth, and opportunity together.

MAIN OFFICE SUMMER CLOSURE – July 11- August 24th.
There will be no access to the school during these dates.
Preston office staff will return August 25th.
FINAL SEMESTER 2 REPORT CARDS
Report cards can be picked up from Monday, July 7 to Thursday July 10th in the main office. The office will be open from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm.
DIPLOMA & TRANSCRIPTS
Can be picked up with your report card. Again, these items will be available in the main office from Monday, July 7th to Thursday July 10th. The office will be open from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm.
Any student who is 18+ who is not able to pick up their diploma themselves can email phs-attendance@wrdsb.ca with the name of the designated pick up person. If you or your designated person cannot come in and pick up your diploma/transcript/report card, we will store them in the main office for pick up in the fall.
GRADE 12 STUDENTS
If you still need to return your Chromebook, please drop it off in the main office when you pick up your report card/diploma/transcript.
SCHOOL DAY ACCESS
Parents/Caregivers will not be able to see any information on School Day from July 7th to August 24th. Access will resume on Monday, August 25th at 9 am.
SEPTEMBER START-UP
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, will be the first day of school for all students. More details of the format of this day will be shared in late August.

SUMMER SCHOOL
If your student is taking a Summer School Course and you have questions please call 519-885-0800 or email SCS-attendance@wrdsb.ca The office opens July 2nd, 2025. If a student drops a Summer School Course they must notify the Summer School Office not the PHS office. In late August, the PHS guidance counsellor will receive the message.
COURSE CHANGES
Students who want to make a change to their 2025-2026 course schedule will have the opportunity to make a guidance appointment on Friday September 5th. Until then, guidance counsellors will be registering new students to the school.
