The Ministry of Education invites families to participate in its early years and child care act review.
In August 2015, the Ministry introduced Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014
which was created to strengthen compliance, health and safety in child care settings across the province. As part of the Act, the Ministry is required to conduct a review of the legislation within five years of it coming into effect.
Your feedback will inform the review of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and will help the government to improve the early years and child care sector.
Who should participate?
Parents and caregivers of children up to 12 years old or up to 21 years old for children and people with special needs.
Participate in the family survey (should take approximately 15 – 20 minutes to complete)
The survey is available until July 21, 2020. This is a voluntary research opportunity. Participation is encouraged but not required.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact cceya_consultation@ontario.ca.
