September 10th, 2021
September 10 marks World Suicide Prevention Day and serves as an important reminder that suicide and mental health touches many in our schools and in our community.
We know that as part of our ongoing work to reduce the risk of suicide for those in the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), we strive to make our schools safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments for all. Today, and every day, we are working to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around suicide.
