We are looking forward to welcoming back our Graduates of 2022 for their Commencement ceremony, which will take place at Preston High School on Friday, October 14th at 7:00pm. Tickets to Commencement are not required but we do ask our Graduates, and their families, to be mindful of our capacity limitations and keep their party to a minimum. Graduates are to arrive via the EVENT ENTRANCE, located in the left corner of the main parking lot (look out for the sign), to ensure that guests with mobility challenges are able to enter the Gym with ease.

Please read the following carefully to ensure the smooth running of the ceremony:

  • 6:00pm – Graduates are asked to make their way to the Single Gym. Gowns, if purchased, will be available for Pick Up in the Single Gym. Please form a line in front of the Alphabetical signage appropriate to you.
  • Once you have collected your Gown, please find your Reader Card on the tables set out and you will be asked to write a short sentence about your future plan.
  • 6:30pm – Graduates will be asked to line up in alphabetical order in designated rows inside the single gym (Reader cards will also be numbered to help you find your place in the line). Marshalls will be available to answer questions.
  • 6:45pm – Please pay close attention to the final instructions by Marshalls.
  • 6:55pm – Procession and seating in the Double Gym – please follow marshalls and MAINTAIN YOUR ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
  • Following the ceremony there will be a reception held in the PHS Cafeteria. Graduates hand back the scroll and receive their official Diploma.

Guests/Families will be able to purchase flowers on arrival at the school just inside the Event Entrance. A percentage of sales will be donated to Preston High School. Please use the following link if you wish to pre-order flowers for your Graduate.
