Hello Panther families,

We are asking for your help in supporting the safety of the small children at the Early Learners Montessori School that is directly across the street from Preston High School. The Ministry of Education provides clear guidance for licensed daycares to minimize vehicle in and out traffic to their parking lot, as well as parking directly beside their facilities where children play.

Recently, we have noticed an increase in Preston related traffic using the Early Learners Montessori Childcare Centre. There has been more in and out use of their lot for student drop-offs/pickups. We understand you may be trying to find a quick spot during the busy times of our school day, we kindly ask that you avoid using their lot for any PHS-related pick-ups or drop-offs. To ensure a safe environment for their infants and toddlers, we are asking students and families to refrain from using the Early Learners Montessori parking lot.

Please follow the signage regarding where to park on Rose street and avoid parking out front where the school buses stop to pick up/drop-off students.

We truly value the positive relationship we have with our neighbours, and appreciate you helping us keep their transition zones clear and safe for small children.
