Welcome Back Panthers!

As we look ahead to welcoming students to PHS on Tuesday September 8th, we have some important transportation information for families. Busing information has been updated for the 2026/2027 school year, and is now available at the Student Transportation Services website; www.stswr.ca. 

We strongly encourage all students/families/caregivers to double check their transportation information online, as there have been updates as recently as late August. Information available at this website includes busing eligibility, Route Number, stop locations and pick up/drop off times. Some existing bus routes have had updates and changes to their routes, stop locations and times, thus there is a higher chance for students to board the wrong bus or miss their pick up location. During the school year, this website will also provide families with real-time updates regarding any bus delays and cancellations.

Opting Out of Transportation
If students reside in the bus zone, but require only AM, only PM or no busing, please complete the “Decline or Reinstate Transportation Form” (previously called the Do Not Ride form) located on the STSWR website. These forms will assist STSWR with accurate headcounts as we plan for September and further changes to school procedures during the school year. Families may opt out of busing altogether or for either morning or afternoon busing only. The form lets the school, the bus driver, and STSWR know that students will not be taking the bus in one or both directions. If a student qualifies for busing, families can opt in again at any time throughout the school year by using the same form.
