Dear Preston Families,
Our first Blended Learning Day of the school year will be on Wednesday, September 25th. Blended Learning Days allow students to engage in synchronous and asynchronous learning from home (refer to the schedule below), while staff engage in professional learning during the asynchronous portion of the day.
Teachers will let students know what they will be working on that day and attendance will be taken. Students are not required to attend in-person. Students unable to work remotely from home are welcome to come into the school and work in a supervised space (the cafeteria).
Students in ACE classes will attend according to their regular schedule. All transportation (buses and taxis) will operate according to their regular schedules.
This year, Blended Learning Days are on the following dates:
- Wednesday September 25, 2024 – Week 2
- Wednesday December 04, 2024 – Week 2
- Wednesday February 26, 2025 – Week 2
- Wednesday May 07, 2025 – Week 1
