Commencement 2018/19

An invitation to Commencement on Friday, 18th October at 7pm was mailed on 22nd August 2019 to graduating students.

Commencement is a formal event to celebrate your successful completion of secondary school and your “commencement” or beginning of the next stage of your life.

The ceremony includes:

Receiving diplomas, and bursaries
Presenting subject and special awards, including Ontario Scholars
Listening to farewell speeches from the valedictorian and principal
The graduation fee is $30 and is non-refundable. It includes:

Graduation package (Gown (Maroon only), cap and tassel) – that you get to keep
Programme and reception
The commencement package will be available to purchase from Wednesday, Sept 4th.  Please keep updated in school-day.

Opening Day Schedule 2019 STUDENT VERSION

Hey Panthers

School starts on Tuesday, September 3rd.  

Grade 9 students report directly to the cafeteria at 8:05am.

Grade 10, 11 and 12 students please plan to arrive at 11:30am.  You will find alphabetical lists posted in the crush area and on the main office window.  Find your name and report to the appropriate homeroom for an 11:40am start.

All students….don’t forget to bring your completed, signed white data verification form and signed green Notice of Permission form from the package you picked up this past week.  Take these documents to your homeroom and exchange them for your timetable.

Transportation Eligibility

Students eligible for transportation can go to www.stswr.ca on August 19, 2019 and click on student login to retrieve updated busing information.  STSWR has updated the transportation network which may have changed stop times or locations.

Ontario Student Numbers are needed in order to log in and access transportation details which can be found on a report card from any school in Ontario.
