PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS

Go to school first and gain skills; then market yourself to potential employers. Training is typically provided by colleges or community agencies in Ontario. We’ve made it easy for you to find existing pre-apprenticeship programs:

ONTARIO YOUTH APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

You can get a head start on an apprenticeship by participating in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.  This program allows students to earn credits towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) while participating in a co-op placement in an apprenticeship trade.
