UNIVERSITY APPLICATION SITE

Ontario university applications for programs beginning in September 2024 (Fall) or January 2025 (Winter) are due January 15, 2024. Apply online through the Ontario Universities Application Centre. The cost is $156 for 3 program choices.

There have been 2 changes to the process for September 2024:

There is a common application form now for students who are currently in high school AND student who have been out of high school for more than one year.

PIN #’s will no longer be used for the application form.  Instead students will apply using their personal Ontario Education Number (OEN). This is a different number than your Student Number.  The OEN is found on any report card  you have ever received and on a graduation summary sheet given to you by guidance.

ONTARIO UNIVERSITY FAIR (OUF) in Toronto

  • ALL Ontario Universities will be at this event.  Extra workshops are offered on topics like OSAP, campus life
  • Saturday October 21, 2023 and Sunday October 22, 2023 10:00 am – 5pm daily, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, ON
  • FREE admission; you can register for an OUF pass if you wish but you do not to register ahead to attend

VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY INFORMATION SESSIONS

  • Tuesday September 26, 2023  online from 5-7 pm
  • Wednesday November 22, 2023  online from 5-7 pm
  • Registration is required, click here
  • Links for virtual sessions will be sent out on the Grade Google Classroom “PHS Class of 2024/ 25”

ONTARIO UNIVERSITY REGIONAL FAIR in Waterloo 

  • ALL Ontario Universities will be at this event.
  • Each University will have a table with a university representative to answer your questions
  • This will be held November 8, 2023 at  the CIF Fieldhouse, University of Waterloo 220 Columbia St. W Waterloo, ON from 10-1pm and from 5-8pm
  • If you wish, register for an OUEvents Pass where you will receive a barcode for the event. Ask universities’ to scan your barcode to share your information with them. They will send you information on their specific university.

University Open House Schedule
Visit University campuses when you can.  Open Houses / Fall Preview Days / March Break Events are larger events where you often can get into lecture halls and see inside residence rooms.
