All parents are welcome to come out to Preston’s School Council. In addition to Preston’s website (http://phs.wrdsb.ca/), this is a great way to get information about what’s happening at the school. Meetings include student and staff representatives. Meeting dates for 2016-2017 are listed below.
School Council is a great way to get to know the principal, some staff members and other parents. Discussion relates to upcoming events at Preston, updates from Waterloo Regional Assembly of School Councils, parent nights, report card information, course selection and much more. Find out how busy life at Preston is for staff and students. It’s interesting to find out the “why” behind scheduling and events from a whole school picture rather than just your child’s view. It’s a great way to stay informed about your community school and the many events taking place during and after regular classes.
School Council at Preston is a very casual and non-threatening way to stay informed and ask questions about your community high school and to share your ideas.
All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!
We meet from 7:00-8:00pm in the school Library
