Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA) will be hosting a full-body workout session, also known as HIIT, for their second virtual fitness event on Wednesday, May 26 at 7pm. Ms. Mintz, who is a fitness teacher at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute (CHCI), and a WCSSAA basketball and track coach, will lead participants through this workout.
Interested in participating in the workout? Register now. A link to the virtual event will be emailed to you on the day of the full-body workout session. All participants will be entered into a draw for a WCSSAA swag. Don’t miss out!
Device cameras will not be required to participate. It is a webinar-style session so participants will only see the instructor, the instructor will not see participants.
What are WCSSAA events and challenges?
These series of virtual fitness events and challenges are for high school students in Grades 9 to 12 and staff meant to break a sweat and put a focus on our well-being. Now more than ever, it is important for us to take care of our wellness, both physically and mentally.
By participating in these events and challenges, you will earn points for your school. The more students and staff who participate, the higher the chance your school could win the WCSSAA Spring Championship for your community.
Future Events and Challenges
More information about the upcoming challenges and events will be shared as they approach. If the event name interests you, please make sure to register for each individual fitness event you want to participate in.
