The newest edition of Caring/Coping/Connecting focuses on coping in a challenging time. During a pandemic, the balance of stress is stacked against us, but with the right strategies and supports, we can help restore a sense of balance. Don’t miss the selection of helpful resources curated to help you not just survive, but thrive.
You’ll also find a selection of community events and resources selected to help support the well-being of you and your children. There are events and supports available to everyone from children to adults from our partners at Carizon and Woolwich Counselling.
Don’t forget about upcoming community events, and the Lunch and Learn sessions hosted by the WRDSB Psychology Department on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 12:45 pm. Upcoming sessions focus on:
- The Development of Self-Regulation and Co-Regulation
- “When Mistakes Make You Quake”: Supporting kids who struggle with perfectionism
