Are you curious about how students in Grades 7 – 12 are being supported in their reading? Would you like an understanding about the literacy initiatives occurring across these grades?  Do you wonder how explicit reading instruction can help your student thrive?

We’d like to invite you to join us for a Literacy evening at the Preston High School Library on Wednesday November 8th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. This event will be collaboratively presented by staff from William G Davis, Clemens Mills, Preston High School and WRDSB Reading Intervention coaches. Our teams will share about the literacy initiatives occurring in Grades 7 – 12, and specifically at our three sites.   We will also demonstrate how you can partner with us as caregivers to support your student’s literacy and reading development.  We hope to see you at 6:00pm for refreshments!

For questions please contact your Student’s grade 9 English teacher or  Ms. Morris in the main office.
