All students in high school are required to complete 40 hours of Community Volunteering.

The PHS Guidance department is hosting a Volunteer Fair at lunch on Fri. Dec. 15.  The Fair will feature community members representing various local organizations, and will provide students with information about the many volunteer opportunities that are available in our area.  This is a great way for students to find options for earning community volunteering hours for their high school diploma.  The Fair will also include a panel of PHS students who have earned the most community service hours in the school.  This panel will answer questions about how to find a volunteer position, and the benefits of volunteering beyond earning community service hours, like building a resume and giving back to our community.  Look for the Volunteer Fair outside of the cafeteria at lunch on Friday.
