Preston High School has been invited to participate in the 2016/2017 Canadian Student Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey. This is the only survey conducted nationally to monitor smoking, alcohol and drug use behaviours of Canadian youth and also asks questions about bullying, mental health and school connectedness. This survey is funded by Health Canada and in Ontario will be implemented by University of Waterloo.

On April 10, 2017, students in grades 9 to 12 with parental permission will be asked to take part in the survey.

An information letter and permission form has been sent home with your child. Completed permission forms need to be returned to the school before Thursday, March 30th. For more information about the project and access to copies of the questionnaires visit cstads.ca
