Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to inform you that Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) will be sent home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Students in homerooms will receive their IEPs directly, while those participating in online or alternate programs will have theirs mailed to their home addresses.

Please take a moment to carefully review your child’s IEP. After reviewing, we ask that you sign the Parent Consultation Form and return it to the Main Office by Oct. 31.

If your student is in Grade 12, we have also provided some resources on Graduation Pathways, Exiting High School and Post Secondary Accessibility and Support. You can also find more information on this Pamphlet.

We want to remind you that many accommodations provided in the IEP are universal strategies that our teachers implement in the classroom for all students. This inclusive approach benefits everyone, fostering a supportive learning environment.

If you believe your child no longer requires an IEP, we encourage you to reach out to their Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT). We can arrange a discussion to explore the possibility of discontinuing the IEP if appropriate.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. Together, we can ensure the best educational experience for your child.
