Hello Preston Panthers,

My name is Shawn Weatherdon, and I am honoured to serve as Principal of Preston High School. At PHS, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels a true sense of belonging.

I encourage each of you to take part in the vibrant life of our school. Whether through athletics, the arts, clubs, or special events, there are countless opportunities to get involved and make lasting memories outside of the classroom.

To our parents and caregivers, I invite you to join our School Council. Your input and perspective are invaluable in shaping our school community. The council meets four times a year, with our first meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th, 2025 from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the library.

Preston is truly a community school, and I look forward to getting to know each of our students and their families as we embark on this school year together.
