The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is pleased to encourage Grade 9 student participation on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Take Our Kids to Work 2024.

Families and caregivers are encouraged to see if their employer is taking part in Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKW). If so, families and caregivers are invited to bring their child into work with them for the day. Youth can take part in planned activities and events. Grade 9 students can spend the day in the workplace of a parent/guardian, relative, friend or colleague job shadowing. If your student does not wish to participate, they may go to school and attend their regular classes.

About Take Our Kids to Work Day

Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKW) has a long history of being a successful opportunity for students to gain real world experience in the workplace. TOKW also connects families and caregivers and their Grade 9 students in a day full of fun and career exploration.
