Aerial ‘Congratulations Grads’ Flyover

We are delighted to inform our Preston Panther community that on Wednesday, June 24th at (approximately) 11:00 am to 11:30 am we have the opportunity to watch an Aerial Flyover in celebration of our graduates for 2020.

The plan is to depart Waterloo Airport at 11 AM and then follow the following route:

Deer Ridge Area
Parkway
Preston HS
Preston PS
Grandview PS
Saginaw Area
Speedsville Area
We have been informed that a professional camera with a 200 mm lens is the best type of equipment to obtain a good photo of the flyover.

There will be one last opportunity Thurs. June 25th, from 12-3 pm, for students to retrieve items from their lockers & return items (e.g. textbooks, Chromebooks). If you plan on coming to the school, please ensure that you are following all Public Health guidelines posted on the school website.

Dream It, Be It. Career Support for Girls

The Soroptimist Foundation of Canada launched the Dream it Be it Mentorship Programme in November.  The event was an amazing success.   The foundation would now like to offer a monthly virtual Mentor Programme Series starting June 23rd called the Career Explorer Series. This is an opportunity to meet and chat virtually with female mentors in a variety of career fields. 

This is a FREE event but registration is required.
