Dear Preston Families,

Blended Learning Day – Sept 27th, 2023

Our first Blended Learning Day of the school year will be on Wednesday, September 27th. Blended Learning Days allow students to engage in synchronous and asynchronous learning from home, according to this Blended Learning Day Schedule, while staff engage in professional learning during the asynchronous portion of the day.

Teachers will let students know what they will be working on that day and attendance will be taken, based on student engagement in the learning activities provided. Students unable to work remotely from home are welcome to come into the school and work in supervised spaces such as the library and the cafeteria.

Students in ACE classes will attend according to their regular schedule. All transportation (buses and taxis) will operate according to their regular schedules.

Meet the Teacher Night – Sept 27th, 2023 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

This is an opportunity to meet your student’s Semester 1 teachers and discuss their progress. Teachers will be located in their classrooms around the school. There will be maps provided upon arrival.

School Council Meeting – Sept 27th, 2023 Starting at 7:30pm

Our first School Council meeting will be held following Parents’ Night on Wednesday September 27th at 7:30pm in the Library.  Please join us!
